Usage information, such as studies viewed and completed, used to operate and improve the service and to prevent fraud.
Approximate location and similar signals used for study eligibility and fraud prevention.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account.
To match you with research studies you’re eligible for.
To calculate your earnings and process cash-outs.
To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud and abuse.
To provide support and respond to your requests.
To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run Pumpernickel:

Research and payments partner. Pumpernickel is built on an established research network that handles study supply, fraud protection, and payments. Information necessary to deliver studies and pay you is shared with this partner.
Service providers. Vendors who help us operate the app (such as hosting and analytics), under obligations to protect your data.
Legal and safety. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your profile information in the app.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or port your data, or to object to certain processing.
